HEC is central body & major authority to held & monitor education across Pakistan. HEC is providing numerous educational services like degree attestation, Institutions’ accreditation, checking quality of education, research facilities, educational scholarships, providing educational opportunities to study abroad, Universities ranking system, entrance tests etc.
Undergraduate Studies Admission Test (USAT) is a service provided by HEC to facilitate students & create equal educational environment at national level. USAT is introduced by HEC in previous years & it is an entry test of undergraduate level help qualified students getting admission in any of the HEC accredited Institutes. Initially this test was given as an option to universities to accept or not as their admission test. Recently, from fall 2022 admissions HEC announced & bounded higher education institutions to accept USAT as preliminary test in order to grant admission at undergraduate level.
Hence, students are required to qualify USAT if they are willing to get admission in any of the HEC accredited institutes at undergraduate level degree programs. At the time of this announcement students of intermediate level were busy in final exams. Hence, most of the students were unaware of the fact & they couldn’t get registered for USAT test even they want to apply for admission in undergraduate degree programs in Pakistan’s higher education institutions. The deadline for HEC USAT test 2022 was 12th August 2022 but HEC attended it till 19th of August 2022. Still due to unawareness & exams busyness, majority of students couldn’t get registered for USAT entry test 2022 to be held on 4th September 2022 tentatively.
In this situation HEC announced new registration schedule for USAT test 2022 in August & September 2022 in order to help students get registered for HEC USAT test & stand eligible to apply for undergraduate admission. This registration has given the name of HEC Undergraduate Studies Admission Test (USAT) 2022 Phase 2 started from August 20th & last date to apply for USAT is September 9, 2022.
Now the students can get registered for HEC Undergraduate test (USAT) till registration deadline that is going to be held on September 18th, 2022 tentatively.
