The government of Cuba has offered undergraduate scholarship of MBBS for Pakistani students at single slot. HEC is educational authority in Pakistan & announced that Cuba Government is offering one undergraduate scholarship in the field of Medicine (MBBS).
Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility Criteria for CUBA Government Scholarship is given below:
- Candidate must be Pakistani/AJK national
- Age must be between 18 to 25 Years till application closing date.
- Minimum 70% or above marks in Intermediate (FSc/A Level) Pre-Medical & 60% marks in SSC (Matric/O level).
- Result waiting candidates are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.
Merit Criteria
The final selection is subject to merit. The merit formula of Cuba Government MBBS Scholarship for Pakistani students includes 50% FSc & 50% Matric marks.
Scholarship Inclusives
Following expenses will be borne by Cuba Government under this scholarship:
- Tuition fees
- Hostel Accommodation & toiletries
- Food
- Stipend of 100 Cuban Pesos per month
- One time grant of Rs.300,000 (3 Lac) shall be provided to scholarship awardee after his departure to Cuba.
Except above, all other expenses i.e air tickets, halal food, medical insurance, visa fee etc shall be borne by student/guardian.
How to apply for Cuban Scholarship?
Interested students are required to
- Apply online at HEC portal. Click Here to fill form & get registered.
- After online submission, get application’s print to be signed by applicant.
- Following documents with online application form shall only be required/demanded from shortlisted applicants. No need to send hard copy to HEC at this stage.
- Duly signed copy of HEC application form through online application portal
- SSC certificate/DMC/Ddgree with IBCC attestation OR O-Level certificate (Science) with IBCC equivalence.
- Birth certificate by NADRA
- Father/Guardian’s CNIC copy
- No criminal record original certificate
- Photocopy of valid passport
- Original medical certificate with report of HIV/AIDS by DHQ medical superintendent.
